Welcome

Welcome to the Biotechnology Resource Center – the U.S. Grains Council’s hub for the latest information on worldwide Council programming efforts in the field of agricultural biotechnology. Also located here are Council publications and other factual materials about agricultural biotechnology, links to biotechnology in the news and an outline of the Council’s numerous biotech advocacy partners.

Within the international grain trade, acceptance of biotechnology has faced great challenges. Attitudes toward biotechnology are as varied as the world’s cultures and landscapes and, unfortunately, these attitudes are often distorted by misinformation. The Biotechnology Resource Center seeks to provide science-based information to decision-makers, consumers and journalists around the world.

For questions and comments about content contained in the Biotechnology Resource Center, or to post information about an upcoming event, contact Hillary Bennett at hbennett@grains.org.
